Carter returns as teZa and he talk about how challenging it is to maintain their connection to the here and NOW, the principle subject discussed, no matter what "outer circumstances" are happening to the cohosts. Staying calm and peacefully accepting of the NOW has been harder, especially since the Covid pandemic has struck such a dent in the fabric of the blended family of humankind.
Carter admits how this week he succumbed to anger and "lost it" even though he's been consciously working to stay in the NOW. teZa can relate, and helps to bring the focus more inwardly, reminding us "how" to stay in that sublime, spiritual state of Oneness, which is everyone's choice to experience (or not).
The choice of staying in the NOW (neither in the past or the future) is not being in denial, but choosing to focus on the spiritual side of life. This pertains to the inner state of ourselves and others. Choosing to embrace the NOW is saying "Look further within our Beingness than the hardships that occur on the outer regions of life." Both Lords agree that choosing whichever state, having positive or negative thoughts (being in acceptance or not, of any given situation) is up to each of us using our will power. Exterior circumstances cannot shake the peaceful steadiness of the NOW.
With each new situation, new choices arise before us. Continuously, each moment of each day we get to choose how to direct our personal energy by being aware of our thoughts. Every thought is filled with energy. Combined, all humans, by using our focused consciousness alone, are actively helping alleviate suffering by contributing our invisible but POWERFUL energy of thought. The power of thought is how we can help others who are suffering. Prayer is one way. But having the intention (keeping our thoughts positive) is all it takes to contribute healing energy. We are helping ourselves and others to get through hard times by seeing the positive side of things, instead of latching on to ever-present fears of others, and our own not-yet-released negative, fearful feelings.
Getting through this hard time together, is discussed with many tools suggested. Compassion and empathy are explored, and attempts at understanding their subtle differences are offered. The lively conversation ends with a meditative universal healing ... a visual and verbal exploration led by teZa in hopes of instilling the positive choice of believing in the healing power of Love that we all have, right here, right NOW.
